New and experienced managers and staff with responsibility for pesticide water quality activities at state, tribal, and territory agencies with FIFRA Cooperative Agreements. Those with current or future responsibility for water quality programs and activities within the pesticide program should explain on the nomination form how the course will be of benefit.
Enhance capacity for pesticide water quality programs by exploring state and federal requirements for protecting surface water and ground water from pesticides and addressing current needs and challenges. Support current SFIREG Environmental Quality Workgroup initiatives and priorities.
Nomination and Participants
Nominations must be submitted electronically. It is best to prepare your justification for selection before starting your nomination application. To complete the nomination process, please refer to the nomination announcement.
Nominations for the Pesticides and Water Quality course open July 8, 2021 and close August 5, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). The PREP Team will make selections no later than August 12, 2021 based on how closely the nominees conform to the target participant criteria and why the training is essential to their job responsibilities.
