Audience

Lab managers, directors, or senior analysts who work under FIFRA Cooperative Agreements. Secondary priority will be given to a select number of laboratory quality assurance directors.

Course Goal

Share knowledge, expertise, pesticide program communication strategies, and best practices to enhance competency and quality for managing a modern pesticide laboratory.

Information to be covered in this course includes:

  • communication and coordination with pesticide program and enforcement personnel
  • leadership learning opportunities for lab managers
  • emerging analytical issues and hot topics
  • lab operations and resource issues

Nomination and Participants

Nominations

Nominations must be submitted electronically. It is best to prepare your justification for selection before starting your nomination application. To complete the nomination process, please refer to the nomination announcement.

Nominations for the Laboratory Issues course open June 3, 2021 and close July 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). The PREP Team will make selections no later than July 15, 2021 based on how closely the nominees fit the target audience and why the training is essential to their job responsibilities.
