New and experienced state, territory and tribal program managers, supervisors or senior staff who work under FIFRA cooperative agreements.

Course Goal

Provide information, skills, and contacts for navigating new and emerging science, technology and policy issues related to state, tribal and territory pesticide regulatory programs. This includes providing information and resources to better understand how to implement an effective program.

Nomination and Participants


Nominations must be submitted electronically . It is best to prepare your justification for selection before starting your nomination application. To complete the nomination process, please refer to the nomination announcement.

Nominations for the Comprehensive Combo course close January 9, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time). The PREP Team will make selections no later than January 29, 2020 based on how closely the nominees conform to the target participant criteria and why the training is essential to their job responsibilities.

Travel Information

All confirmed participants (except EPA participants) will be sent a travel form via email, which should be filled out and sent to BCD Travel as soon as possible. The travel agency will then contact each participant within two business days of receiving the travel form in order to arrange flights. Please plan to arrive on Sunday (March 22) and depart on Friday (March 27). The travel agent will send you a few options, and it is critical that you reply to their emails as quickly as possible to obtain your preferred flights.

Lodging and ground transportation will be arranged for participants based on the responses to the online registration form sent via email.

Please note that if you cancel your participation after airfare is ticketed, your agency will be invoiced for any fees or costs associated with the cancellation.

EPA participants are responsible for reserving their own flights and ground transportation. We will reserve rooms in the PREP room block for EPA participants; however, EPA participants are responsible for paying for their room upon arrival. EPA participants must also pay a registration fee of $200; the form to submit this payment will be sent via email.
